Skin lesion removal is a procedure or surgery to remove growths on your skin.

You may have a skin lesion removed because it is too big, bothersome, or uncomfortable. Or you may have a lesion removed because it could be cancerous or precancerous.

Most lesion removal procedures are easily done in clinic, in our treatment room. Which procedure you have depends on the location, size and type of lesion.

Most people are awake during these procedures. You will be administered with local anesthesia to numb the area. Stitches may or may not be used depending on the type and size of your lesion. You will have a scar which will fade away with time.

The procedure could take about 5 to 20 minutes. Most patients can go back to their normal routine on the same day or the day after the procedure.
