LipoDissolve Fat Removal
Also known as: Injection Lipolysis
Lipodissolve is an exciting breakthrough in treating stubborn areas of fat in the body without surgery.
Lipodissolve injections should not be regarded as a new miracle drug for weight reduction, however for small fat deposits that cannot be removed by diet or exercise, Lipodissolve injections are effective. Lipodissolve works by helping the natural metabolic process during which the fat cell wall dissolves to release the fat in an emulsified form to be transported to the liver for elimination. Hence it is important that the liver is in good condition.

The active substance used in these injections, phosphatidylcholine (referred to as PPT or PPC), is a natural compound produced from the soya bean. The body uses the same substance in a number of chemical pathways, including fat metabolism. Thousands of treatments have been successfully given in Europe and in South America, where the treatment was pioneered 20 years ago.

The medication is directly injected into the area concerned. Areas suitable for treatment include the buttocks, hips, thighs, love handles, dorsal bulges, upper arms, double chin, jowls, cheeks, face, lower eyelid, and abdomen. Using different techniques, Lipodissolve is also effective in the treatment of cellulite and reducing the size of lipomas (fatty lumps), without resorting to surgery. Lipodissolve has also been shown to improve and smooth out the skin.

The number of treatments differs from person to person, depending upon body region and body size. Due to the differing structure of the connective tissue and fat cells, it has been found that men do not respond to the therapy as well as women. As a rule, 2-4 treatments in intervals of 6-8 weeks are necessary to successfully complete the treatment. Research has shown that more than 80% of patients are very satisfied with the results after 2-3 treatments.
Among the many factors that make Lipodissolve so popular are:
-
Safety: there is no need for a general anaesthetic
-
Ease: pain is easily managed during and after the procedure
-
Control: Lipodissolve can be fine tuned over the course of treatment
-
Appearance: there is minimal bleeding and bruising with no sutures needed
-
Speed: Lipodissolve has a relatively short recovery period, allowing a rapid return to work and normal activities; no hospital stay is required
-
Cost: Lipodissolve has a substantially lower cost than other methods of fat removal
Not to be confused with Mesotherapy, Lipodissolve uses different medications that result in faster response times. According to Dr. Franz Hasengschwandtner, the leading Research Director in Europe on Lipodissolve studies, clinical studies and reports have concluded that Lipodissolve is much safer for dissolution of localised fat deposits compared to Mesotherapy.
Lipodissolve is not a miracle cure to make you lose weight. It is intended to tackle those areas that diet and exercise have not managed to reduce. The effect of Lipodissolve injections must not be compared with liposuction, a surgical method permanently removing greater amounts of fat by means of one intervention.
The success of Lipodissolve injections is also a permanent one which does not occur directly but after a certain time. Lipodissolve is the perfect option for those who do not want to undergo surgery.
Average Cost (per treatment): Abdomen $300-$800
Back $300-$800
Outer Thighs $400-$700
Upper Arms $300-$600
Chin $300-$500
