Laser Hair Removal
Laser Hair Removal allows for rapid, gentle, and permanent removal of unwanted hair.
Lasers are devices that amplify light and produce an intense and synchronised beam. They operate on the principle of light absorption. The laser beam is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair, which causes the energy to travel down the hair shaft to the root, where the energy is transformed into heat and the hair follicle is heated to the point where it retards further hair growth.

The process can take anywhere from several minutes to several hours, depending on the area of the body involved. After each session, a percentage of your hair follicles are instantaneously and permanently disabled but multiple sessions (an average of 5-6) need to be performed for full effect.
The procedure is relatively painless, being described as "a rubber band flicking against the skin". Most people do not require any treatment for discomfort by the laser as a “cooling machine” cools the skin as the laser passes over easing any problems.
If necessary a local anaesthetic cream may be applied to relieve any pain.
For the purposes of hair removal, the definition of "permanent" is being able to go a year after your final hair removal treatment without having to use another method of hair removal.
Price Range: $90-$1000 per session
