"Members are to maintain high professional standards consistent with sound practices, conduct business relationships in a manner that is fair to all, promote professionalism in the cosmetic tattoo/semi-permanent makeup industry, refrain from any immoral or unethical behaviour in their business dealings, strive to participate in continuing education to upgrade and improve their knowledge and skills, follow O.H. & S. guidelines using all disposable equipment and if available autoclave for sleeve of machine only, must wear disposable gloves, mask, and apron for all tattoo work, must take before and after photographs of every cosmetic tattoo treatment regardless of whether the treatment is a follow-up or new treatment, and must give take home advice to every client concerning how to look after their new tattoo."
