Buttock Augmentation
Buttock Augmentation is for those who are unable to develop proportionate gluteal muscles, lack buttock fat, or simply desire more augmentation in the buttock area.
Buttock augmentation is performed with implants or your own fat, which can give a more balanced look or simply give you more curves.
Buttocks implants are soft yet much stronger than breast implants, and they are made of an elastomer so they can't leak. Placed into each buttock through a single 2-3 inch incision over the tailbone, the implants are placed to look as natural as possible. There are two primary options for buttock implants – they can be placed either sub-muscular (intra-muscular) or sub-fascial.

Since the implants will be directly in the sitting area, you will need to avoid sitting for two weeks after surgery. Obviously, you will need to sit for using the bathroom, but you should avoid putting pressure on the sitting area as much as possible. You will have to sleep, watch TV and rest in the prone position (on the stomach) for a two week period. You will be able to stand and walk on the day of the surgery or one day after. Expect to be off work for about 2 weeks. In about a month, you should be able to return to the gym or work out.
An alternative method is Micro Fat Grafting (Fat Transfer). You must have enough "spare" fat in areas such as the abdomen, flanks, hips, lower back or thighs. This excess will be removed with very gentle, low-vacuum liposuction using a special canula (thin tube) to protect the living fat cells. The fat particles are purified, then inserted into the layers of the buttocks through a single small incision, putting tiny droplets throughout the tissues so each fat cell will have a good blood supply.
