Breast Liposuction
Breast liposuction is called the 'scarless' breast reduction technique.
The best candidates for this procedure are women who desire a reduction of only a few cup sizes, men who suffer with Gynaecomastia (male breast enlargement), and also for those who fear general anaesthesia or major surgical procedures.
It is performed with twilight sleep anaesthesia plus local anaesthesia, with little or no pain during the postoperative period.

The scar is about ¼ inch long and is located in the fold under the breast. This is where the canula for the liposuction is introduced. Liposuction, with special instruments, will remove fatty tissue but not the firmer glandular tissue. After surgery, the skin shows a dramatic degree of shrinkage, with the nipple/areola often rising several centimetres once fully healed. The amount of lift is determined by the patient’s elastic skin characteristics, not skin removal. This allows the operation to function without scars.
There is no change in breast or nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed is unimpaired, as there is no "cutting". Patients are encouraged to resume full activity as soon as they feel up to it.
With constant advances in the art of liposuction, surgeons consistently get a 1 to 3 cup size reduction in each breast. Remember, the female breast is composed of at least 50% fat by the age of 35.
Another feature of breast liposuction is its use in "asymmetry". This is a condition where the two breasts are different sizes. This technique will adjust the size without leaving a visible scar.
Average Cost: $3000-$4500
