Breast Implant Revision
For women who already have undergone breast implant surgery and are dissatisfied with their results, breast revision surgery can be performed.
Breast implant revision surgery usually involves the removal and replacement of a breast implant to correct complications that may have occurred during or after breast augmentation or breast reconstruction surgery.

There are a number of reasons why a woman may seek to have a breast implant revision.
- Breast implant hardening or capsular contracture
- To correct unsatisfactory previously performed breast surgery
- Implant rupture/deflation/leakage
- Infection
- Discomfort
- Shifting of implant creating a lopsided appearance
- Synmastia: where the two implants rub up against one another, over the top of the breastbone, and come together to produce one breast
- Wrinkling or rippling
- Incorrect size
- Asymmetry
